E-verify and new hires
Q. My company employs about 12 people. My state requires any new hires to be processed through the E-Verify system of Homeland Security. (?) One of my new employees came back as a mismatch. I guess I am supposed to terminate employment, but I am concerned about the affect on the other team members. Is there a way I can keep him on board?
